MPs have been taking evidence on Atos Medical Services on 19 November 2012.

Evidence was heard from Robert Devereux, permanent secretary at the Department of Work and Pensions.

The company's role is to give medical advice to help the department's decision makers reach an appropriate decision on entitlement to benefit.
